On May 29, 1972, the Erroll Garner Quartet was in Paris on tour when they appeared on Jazz Land, a 30-minute French TV show that was taped without an audience and captured jazz artists with multiple cameras and in living color. There's no better way to end this week than to hear Garner's grunts and history-soaked keyboard accompanied by Ernest McCarty (b), Jimmie Smith (d) and Jose Mangual (perc.). Here they are...
