The Eric Mintel Quartet is a professional jazz ensemble consisting of Eric Mintel on piano, Neil Wetzel on sax, Dave Antonow on bass and Jeremy Berberian on drums. The quartet has been together since 1993, and their experience includes a performance at the White House, several performances at the Kennedy Center, collaborations with symphony orchestra and choral groups, outreach to students in elementary schools, performances at jazz festivals, cultural centers and concert halls throughout the country and educating the public on the importance of jazz music in our culture. Energetic, lyrical, swinging and always entertaining, Eric Mintel's group is one of the finest straight ahead jazz quartets in the country today. The public has hailed Eric's passionate piano style, his attention to melody, his catchy original compositions and his use of classical elements within a performance.

Other microJAZZ shows for November and December will be announced as added. We are in the process of adding shows with Richie Cole's NYC Alto Madness Orchestra, Philly keyboardist Eddie Green, and other jazz artists of that caliber.

The microJAZZ Performance Series will run throughout the year (2003/2004) between the Passage Theater Company events. The Jazz Series will feature top-notch Jazz artists from the Trenton, Philly and NYC areas. Refreshments shall be available for purchase at the Playhouse from the Utopia Bistro staff.
