Los Angeles, CA--Eliott James is set to release his new album Cinematic Life on January 10, 2006. Cinematic Life features the cello, harp, piano, upright bass, guitar, and some sounds of nature such as falling rain and chirping birds. Atmospheric tracks like “Deep Forest Rain" and “Midnight Desert Run" paint the necessary visuals for you. He creates his own personal cinema for the body, mind, and spirit without uttering a word. It is very effective way to express art, nature, and music all at the same time.

Even though he has been on the road since he was 17 years old and played countless live dates, it was not until 2004 before he looked into his minds eye and inner self to step into the recording studio. Eliott was very busy writing books and performing before settling into his recording career.

Eliott got his start in music watching his grandfather play banjo and guitar when he was a boy, and eventually he taught young Eliott to play. Being an accomplished author of several books on spirituality made the progression into his current musical venture a natural evolution into recorded music, harnessing the elements of ambient, new age, jazz, and rock to develop Cinematic Life. The title could not be more appropriate. This music has the ability to take you anywhere you would like to go, its like having your own do it yourself world at your fingertips, just put the CD on and let the music perform its magic. Ultimately, what you get out of listening is your own personal spiritual journey unfolding with minimal effort on your part.

Cinematic Life is available on the Wateree Recordings label and distributed to independent, jazz, and college radio stations in the US, Europe, and Japan while retailed worldwide through Amazon.com, CD Baby, and iTunes. Contact: Email Pam Olivent
