Israeli saxophonist Albert Beger had released his album Big Mother in 2008. The album, is a six piece suit dedicated to the environmental issue, the danger that planet earth is in, the damage the humans causes the great gift of them all—our one global home, our big mother.

Albert is also an activist. He helps clean the beach near his house from garbage left by people, take an active part in protests and also led a civilian battle against a plan to build a gas refinery near the beach, in the beautiful nature. The battle succeeded eventually and the plan was canceled.

In honor of Earth Day 2011, that takes place in April 22nd, Albert decided to give the entire Big Mother album for a free download in his website. This is an another attempt to raise awareness to this crucial and important subject that should concern us all, and hopefully his sounds will reach as many ears as possible, and move people to act more responsibly in their day to day lives.

Download the album in Albert's Earth Day 2011 page, and feel free to spread the link around.
