Two Time Grammy Award Winner of “Best Latin Song and Best Latin Samba Recording”, will release a new CD via the MusicTaste label

Brazilian Bossa Nova/Jazz musician Dori Caymmi will release his new album Inner World on July 14th 2009 through HoriPro Entertainment Group’s new digital record label MusicTaste. Dori Caymmi is the son of the legendary Brazilian musician Dorival Caymmi. Dori is a celebrated vocalist, guitarist, composer, arranger, and producer. Dori Caymmi will be hosting a CD release party in conjunction with the Los Angeles Grammy Museum on August 29th 2009 at 7:30 pm sharp.

The new album contains songs with performances by Paulinho DaCosta and Abraham Laboriel. Paulinho da Costa is thought of as one of the greatest Brazilian percussion players of his time. Abraham Laboriel is a master bassist who brings a sensitive side to melody. Dori Caymmi also recorded tracks with renowned drummer Mike Shapiro, bassist Jerry Watts and pianist Bill Cantos. Unlike previous releases, Dori will feature tracks in English as well as his native Portuguese language. The new CD will be available digitally and for physical purchase on CDBaby.com. A bicoastal United States tour is being routed for later this year.

Accompanied by Bill Cantos, Mike Shapiro, Jerry Watts and Scott Mayo, Dori Caymmi will perform on August 29th 2009 at The Grammy Museum which is located at 800 Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Set time to begin at 7:30PM sharp.


Brazilian Dori Caymmi is an internationally known musician who is respected for formulating his inimitable musical blend of Pop, Jazz and Brazilian elements. He has recorded many solo albums, albums with ensemble groups, and soundtrack albums. The son of renowned Brazilian composer Dorival Caymmi, he is a two-time Grammy Award winner (for Best Latin Song and Best Latin Samba Recording), and he has been nominated for numerous other Grammy Awards, plus other prominent awards such as Playboy and TV Globo Music Festival.

MusicTaste Digital Label

MusicTaste is an upcoming label that exposes listeners to music similar to their flavor within the HoriPro Entertainment Group.
