The Disco Biscuits have announced the addition of seven dates to their 2009 Spring Tour. The announcement of the second leg of the tour comes as the band gears up for a run of shows in late February and early March to wrap up their Winter Tour. Following a ten-day West Coast run, the Spring Tour will continue with a homecoming weekend in Philadelphia, featuring two nights at the Electric Factory, Friday and Saturday, April 17-18. Tickets for all shows are on sale through BiscoTix on Monday, February 23, before becoming available to the public via Ticketmaster or venue outlets on Friday, February 27.
Following the back-to-back Friday & Saturday performances in Philadelphia, the band will head to The Klein in Bridgeport, CT on Sunday, April 19. From there, the band will head to Washington DC's famed 9:30 Club for an April 20 performance that will feature a Green/Earth Day theme. The Disco Biscuits will then head back to Louisville, KY on Thursday, April 23 to makeup the canceled show from Winter Tour. After heading to Cincinnati's Madison Theater on April 24, The Disco Biscuits will then round out their Spring Tour with a performance at the historic Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, NC, their first performance at this legendary venue.
