Going to California: The Disco Biscuits Announce
Nine-Day Golden State Tour, Including Two Weekends

Band Will Visit the West Coast for the First Time Since 2007

The Disco Biscuits :: 12.31 by Borrell

The Disco Biscuits will make their first California appearance since 2007, heading west for seven performances capped off by a pair of weekend shows at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on April 11 and 12. The run kicks off with a performance at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on April 3, followed by stops in, Crystal Bay, NV, Eureka, CA, Santa Cruz, CA, and San Diego. Tickets for all shows are on sale through BiscoTix (www.DiscoBiscuits.com) on Friday, January 16, and from Ticketmaster on Friday, January 23.

In what is shaping up to be a landmark year with a return to many favorite cities not visited for some time, The Disco Biscuits are set to tour extensively in anticipation of their forthcoming album. As they put the finishing touches on the new release with the help of longtime friends and collaborators, the band continues to explore new and exciting creative ideas with Grammy Award winning hip-hop duo Don Cheegro and Dirty Harry, showing why the Biscuits remain on the cutting edge of contemporary music and the scene they created.

A rejuvenating trip to Jamaica for Caribbean Holidaze (check out our pics here) and a monumental, five-night New Year's run at New York City's Nokia Theatre (read our NYE review here) leave the band poised to tackle one of their most prolific touring periods in the last decade. No less than 38 shows are scheduled between January 16 and April 11.

The Disco Biscuits will be joined on the California tour by good friend and Twisted Records artist Ott, the U.K.'s master of Psy-Dub. Ott will be playing all of the shows on the West Coast, except for Saturday night in LA. Check DiscoBiscuits.com in the coming weeks for information on official after parties and other details.

With the band gearing up for Winter Tour, there is another East Coast date to confirm. The Disco Biscuits will visit Portland, ME for a show at Port City Music Hall on Wednesday, February 25. Tickets for this show will also be available through BiscoTix (www.DiscoBiscuits.com) on Friday, January 16, and from Ticketmaster on Friday, January 23.
