For those of you in the New York City area, The D.D. Jackson Trio (D.D. Jackson - pianist/composer); Dafnis Prieto - drums and Ugonna Okegwo - bass will be appearing for one night only in New York City at the Jazz Gallery on Tues. Nov. 1rst at 9 and 10:30 pm. They will be playing material from a new Justin Time CD they'll be recording shortly in conjunction with D.D.'s upcoming Artistshare website. These Podcasts are freely available for anyone with a computer (no actual Ipod required!) and are an extension of the column he writes for Down Beat magazine, in which he explores his life as a jazz musician.

The latest (Podcast #10) includes a discussion about virtual instruments including an interview with Gary Garritan and Tom Hopkins, the creators of Garritan Personal Orchestra .

You can also subscribe to the Podcast via the free software program ITunes (Mac or PC), so that this and any future podcasts can be automatically downloaded.
