David Fiuczynski's Premier of TAO

I thought All About Jazz would be interested to know about David Fiuczynski's newest undertaking in the music world. Maybe someone would be interested in doing an article or something of the sort as I know you guys are interested in new and interesting project in the Jazz world.

Most recently David has put together a fabulous trio project while teaching at Berkelee School of Music. The new project is called TAO and so far has made a few East Coast appearances in Vermont, New York City and Boston. Fiuczynski has been working on the project since this past summer and will be embarking on a 6 day California tour with the new music he has written. I will paste some info on Fiuczynski and what he has done in the past on the bottom of this email. The new project that will be touring features two West Coast musicians who are at the top of their game. Please refer to the info below regarding this new project.

ABOUT TAO 2002

Fiuczynski'ss hottest new incarnation, TAO is a three person project centerned around David's amazing guitar riffs. The music blends ambient vibes and heavy grooves with eastern exotica sounds that all mix in with his great jazz guitar playing past. Tao has been amazing audiences on the East Coast in select performances since the summer of 2002. With a rotating rhythm section David has hand picked two musicians from the West Coast to join him on his 6 day journey up the coast.
