“David Fiuczynski's KiF": As if it wasn't enough that the man known as “Fuze" plays a double-neck guitar with one “normal" neck and one without frets - now he also employs a quarter-tone axe (dividing each note into four “microtones") expanding on his fresh palette of other-worldly sounds. With KiF, Chinese melodies, Arabic calls to prayer, Indian invocations and legato ripping coexist seamlessly and trippingly with Fuze's signature brand of funky jams ranging from rocked-out madness through drum'n'bass and GoGo styles, into plaintive meditations and moving, emotional ballads.

Fuze is renowned for his work as a former member of Me'Shell NdegOcello's band and as leader of his Screaming Headless Torsos, who released their seminal and influential rap-rock debut in 1995. He recently came off the road with Japanese piano-goddess Hiromi and was Stewart Copeland's touring guitarist prior to this year's Police reunion.

Kif features Skoota Warner(DJ Logic, Matisyahu) on drums and Steve Jenkins (Vernon Reid) on Bass.
