Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs Signs To ULTRA Records; Releases Video Featuring Dizzee Rascal

Ultra Records is home to some of the biggest names in electronic music, representing Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Benny Benassi, Armin van Buuren and the mighty David Guetta amongst others. Now, the label has signed legendary producer DJ Muggs for his upcoming solo effort, 'Bass For Your Face.'

“Snap Ya Neck Back" is the lead single from 'Bass For Your Face' and sees DJ Muggs teaming with platinum UK rapper Dizzee Rascal for a mind-bending dub-hop experience. The pair have unleashed a video for the track on Ministry of Sound's YouTube channel.

DJ Muggs is one of the most respected names in hip hop. Ranging from his work as Cypress Hill's DJ and producer to creating monster hits for other artists like Ice Cube ("Check Yo Self") and House of Pain ("Jump Around") and even collaborating with the likes of former Afghan Whigs, current Twilight Singers main man Greg Dulli, DJ Muggs has proven himself as one of the best in the game. Now, he has decided to take on an entirely new world, creating the dubstep-heavy Bass For Your Face record.

Bass For Your FacePublic Enemy frontman Chuck D, London Grime MC P-Money and many more. The album is expected to be released this summer.

DJ Muggs was just added to ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL taking place March 23-25 in Miami, FL and featuring performances from Skrillex, Tiesto, Kraftwerk, Justice, Avicii, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Miike Snow, Fat Boy Slim and many more. Muggs will also take part in the annual CYPRESS HILL SMOKEOUT on Saturday, March 3rd in San Bernardino where featured performers will include The primeTime sublime Community Orchestra with Rome, KoRn, Wiz Khalifa and more.
