Osmany Paredes Quartet - Jazz Standard - July 30

Cuban pianist, arranger and composer Osmany Paredes is making his New York City debut at the Jazz Standard on Monday, July 30, 2007 as part of the “New Dimensions in Latin Jazz" series.

Osmany Paredes, piano; Pedro Martinez, congas; Mauricio Herrera, drums; Ricky Rodriguez, bass.

Osmany Paredes has performed or recorded with Israel “Cachao" Lopez, Orquesta Enrique Jorrn, Jerry Gonzlez, Giovanni Hidalgo, Dave Samuels, Celio Gonzalez, Diego “El Cigala", “Patato" Valds, Chocolate Armenteros, Fellove Valdes, David Murray, Richard Bona, Jane Bunnett, and Issac Delgado among others.

Doors open at 6:30, and the sets are at 7:30 and 9:30.
