Celebrate New Orleans with continuous dancing on a large covered dance floor, colorful French Quarter cultural arts & crafts marketplace, delicious gumbo, Crawfish etouffee, hush puppies, red beans & rice and other mouthwatering Cajun & Creole delicacies, Music & Cultural workshops, and a daily Second Line Mardi Gras Parade led by the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band. Dancers who travel from festival to festival have made this one their annual stop. New dancers, young and old alike, can learn in quick and easy free dance workshops taught by renowned instructors. Transplanted Louisianans can reunite with one another and enjoy the spirit of their home state Friday evening till the festival closes on Sunday night. Free arts & crafts for children in the Kid's Bayou Tent where they can create costumes for the parade.
On the Cajun & Zydeco Stage - Saturday: San Diego Cajun Playboys, Bonne Musique Zydeco, Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band, New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band (leading the Mardi Gras Parade), Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience.

General admission is $35 at the gate (or buy at $30 in advance online by June 13), Seniors (60+) and College Students (18+) - $25 per day, Young Persons (13 - 17) - $10 per day and children 12 and under are FREE.
The 22nd Annual Long Beach Bayou Festival is an all ages event. Proceeds benefit Comprehensive Child Development a non-profit organization, now in its 23rd year providing childcare and education for children whose parents work or are in job training. Rainbow Lagoon Park is located on the Northside of Shoreline Drive, between Shoreline Village Drive and Linden Avenue. Parking is available across from the Rainbow Lagoon Park on the Marina Green Lot.
