ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY to perform with CLEVELAND JAZZ ORCHESTRA
(CLEVELAND, OH) - Presented by local non-profit arts organization, Cleveland Jazz Orchestra (CJO) will present jazz headliner, vocalist and pianist, Ann Hampton Callaway in a one show only, family appropriate, musical event. Ms. Callaway will perform this show with the CJO.
Co-beneficiary of the proceeds will go to Rainbow Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Jazz and pop vocalist extraordinaire, ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY is best known for starring in the hit Broadway musical Swing" and for writing and singing the theme to the successful TV series, The Nanny." A devotee of the great American songbook, she will bring a fresh interpretation to the timeless classics while performing with the CJO.
Ann's acclaimed Telarc Records debut is Blues in the Night," is now available.
CLEVELAND JAZZ ORCHESTRA is one of the finest performing jazz orchestras in the United States and was founded in 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio. This band provides audiences with a rich variety of classical jazz of the '20s and swing era plus contemporary jazz by leading composers.
Many CJO members are jazz educators, including the leaders of jazz studies at area colleges: University of Akron, Ashland College, Case Western, Cleveland State University, Kent State University, Oberlin College, Youngstown State and Cuyahoga Community College.
