Just to show that there are no hard feelings Universal Jazz, the gallant runners-up in the recent bidding war to secure a recording deal with latest sensation Clare Teal, have included her composition “The Road Less Travelled" on a brand new compilation “The Paul Gambaccini Collection" which is out now. The song, a duet with Universal's jazz superstar Jamie Cullum, is also the title track to Clare's last album on the World famous Candid Record label. This is the third time Universal have included one of Clare's songs on their high profile compilations and even though Clare is now signed to rival entertainment giant Sony they don't rule out the possibility of the two stars singing together again. A copy of the compilation was given to Clare personally by Bill Holland (head of Universal Jazz) while he attended a special charity celebration concert at Michael Parkinson's Pub The Royal Oak near Bray last Wednesday night. Other guests included Clare's new label boss Adam Sieff of Sony Jazz, her former label boss Alan Bates, Parky's radio show producer Anthony Cherry and a host of music business executives. The concert was to raise money to support a special school in South Africa for children with AIDS and was hosted by Michael Parkinson who is already a die hard Teal fan.

The 2 CD compilation features great tracks by: Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua, Diana Krall, Sarah Vaughan, Amy Winehouse, Curtis Stigers, Jimmy Smith and many more.
