Charlie joins, among others, country drumming veteran Ric McClure, James Brown funk drummer Erik Hargrove, Spyro Gyra alumn Tom Walsh, as well as jazz drumming and Motown great Mel Brown, in endorsing Allegra Drums.
Allegra Drum Crafters was founded in 1996 by Dave Peterson in Portland Oregon. The company enjoys a state of the art reputation with numerous top awards, including successive Snare Drum Olympics competition honors and most recently earning the 2011 Drum Magazine “Drummie Award" for the Best Custom Drum Builder category. The drum is then drilled and assembled with Allegra's proprietary finish-integrated post and turret tension casings.
