Combine the exquisite dining experience of “Creole" with the flavor of Internationally known Jazz Artists; toss in the nostalgia of an ambience found in elegant 'Supper Clubs' and you have our “Jazz Legacy Series". Brownstone Entertainment Complex, LLC; bringing Jazz back 'Uptown', to what was once the 'spawning ground' of the 'Be-bop' Era, and its' Traditions... “Creole" Music Supper Club, in association with Brownstone Entertainment Complex, LLC, proudly present: “The Jazz Legacy Series". This series will feature many 'World-Class' Players, appearing on Friday and Saturday evenings, with two shows nightly, at 8.00pm and 10.00pm.

On February 20th & 21st the Club is happy to welcome to the helm, the warm, sensual styling of a Tenor Saxophonist extraordinaire. Chicago born, but New York Musically raised, this young man has had quite a successful career as a Performer, Arranger, Composer and Teacher. He has been a featured Artist with such bands as The Clark Terry Big Band,The Clifford Jordan Big Band and The Barry Harris Big Band. His most recent record release as a Leader is titled “Land Of Dreams", out in 2007 on the “Smalls" Record Label, featuring: Tardo Hammer; Piano, Lee Hudson; Bass, and Jimmy Wormworth; Drums. The Club is proud to welcome this very special performer: Mr. Charles Davis and his Quartet.

“Mintons' Playhouse, one of the holiest jazz landmarks in New York, re-opened in May, for the first time since 1974, but the music became noteworthy only a few weeks ago, when the club started booking better known players for Fridays & Saturdays. The Saxophonist Charles Davis was there over the Weekend, playing in a way that few musicians do anymore; he represents something as genuine, and worth celebrating as the club itself..." --Ben Ratliff, The New York Times
