People compare the timbre of her voice to a young Ella Fitzgerald. – Ben Ratliff, New York Times, July 20, 2001.
“Leonhart inflects her jazz singing with an unmistakable dose of soul and R&B, not unlike Chaka Khan or even Ricki Lee Jones.” – David Adler, AllAboutJazz.com.
Leonhart may be the one to give female vocalists a good name again." – JAZZIZ Magazine, July 2005.
