Join the family rave-up! Multi-award-winning indie recording artist Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could will take the stage at the Union County Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 1st at 3PM.

Join the family rave-up! “Here Comes Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could" delivers strong, straight-ahead grooves, catchy sing-along choruses, and a down-home, boogie-woogie, hip-shakin' vibe you can't resist. Their feel-good tune “The Little Band That Could" lets us know what's coming down the track - “boxcars full of rock 'n' roll." “Road Trip" piles the kids into the car and drives through “Loveland, Kissimee, ol' Mississipp" on a family adventure. The percolating groove and rich harmonies of “Jump Up (It's A Good Day)" are uplifting and infectious, bringing listeners to their feet - and eventually into the air!

Brady Rymer's rollicking, roots-y tunes resonate through American culture, bringing an honest, joyful spirit to music for all generations; “his music has a rock 'n' roll heart," wrote The New York Times. Brady's newest CD, Here Comes Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, marks his debut recording with the band he's brought on the road since 2005. Combining a feel-good R&B foundation with traditional acoustic arrangements and a scoop of sunny 70's optimism, they've created a modern American roots sound for families everywhere; the Little Band That Could “might just be the best-sounding band in children's music," according to Stefan Shepherd on NPR's All Things Considered.

Brady Rymer toured and recorded with the RCA roots/rock band From Good Homes for thirteen years, sharing the stage with the likes of Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews, and the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir, before parenthood broadened the scope of his music. Five albums and countless live shows later, this veteran rocker has established himself as one of the country's most captivating creators of music for kids and families.

Brady's previous releases - Every Day Is A Birthday, I Found It!, Look At My Belly and Good Morning Gus - have been enthusiastically praised by critics and families across the country and have won numerous national awards, including the prestigious Parents' Choice and NAPPA Awards. His songs are in frequent rotation on Sirius Satellite Radio's Kids Stuff. The LA Daily News praised Brady's “superbly written songs ... an exceptional, toe-tapping collection of music," Amazon.com included “Every Day Is A Birthday" on 2006's Top 10 list, while The Chicago Tribune's reviewer called “I Found It!" “one of the finest new kid rock CDs I've heard this year." The Staten Island Advance enthused that Brady's “rock-inspired lyrics have a real generation-spanning appeal ... he's got a magical quality about him in the way he connects to his listeners." AOL CityGuide summed it up: “If Dan Zanes is kindermusik's Bob Dylan, Brady Rymer may be its Jerry Garcia." In an era of character-driven entertainment for children, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could are the real deal, a soulful and spirited band bringing great musicianship, superb songwriting and pure joy to kids and all generations.
