BOB DEE'S COSMOSIS at the KNITTING FACTORY'S TAP BAR

Composer/guitarist Bob Dee performs with his band, Cosmosis every Monday night in July at the Knitting Factory's Tap Bar. The performances precede the release of his new recording, From Head To Soul, due out in September, 2001.

Cosmosis features Bob Dee on guitar, Adam Klipple on keyboards, Rufus Philpott on bass and Grisha Alexiev on drums. (Diana Herold will sub on vibes for Adam Klipple on July 9th.)

There are so many elements that go into any one of Bob Dee's compositions. Chef of the Future, for example, serves up a multi- course meal with all the trimmings, taking you on a tour of various musical cultures, allowing the listener to cleanse his palate each time the head gets reintroduced. It's a fusion of many an exotic cuisine, delivered with a garnish of wit. And the band really gets to testify throughout The Preacher (Adam Klipple's organ delivers you right to the church in Harlem where Bob plays regularly.)
