Beezwax Records Releases Jazz Soundtrack for Independent Hollywood Film

Dateline: Elkhart, Indiana April 23, 2004.

Beezwax records, a small but distinctive jazz record label is pleased to announce the release of the soundtrack album for the independent film, Man of the Year.

The release date of the film, which stars the late John Ritter, was December 2003, with viewings in independent theaters across the country. The soundtrack features noted jazz musicians John Novello (keyboards), Eric Marienthal (saxophone), Melvin Davis (bass), Rayford Griffin (drums), and the crisp vocal work of Joy Askew. The music was written by a team of two experienced composers, David Kates and Jeffrey Silverman.

Beezwax Records is becoming well known in the Jazz community throughout the country as a quality independent label for unique Jazz recordings where each CD is individually serialized and hand packaged as the Beezwax motto states, “One of a kind... One at a time".
