Young Lion of the Baritone Sax, B.J. Jansen, blows back into Cincinnati to showcase for the 2006 Mid Point Music Fest.

B.J. Jansen, Philadelphia jazz baritone saxophone artist (and Cincinnati native son), has been selected for the second consecutive year to perform at the 2006 Mid Point Music Festival held in Cincinnati, Ohio.

B.J. Jansen, born January 3rd 1981 in Cincinnati, has only begun to establish himself as a charismatic and dynamic jazz performer, composer and bandleader on and off the stage. Recent performance highlights as leader have included 55 Bar in NYC: NY, Blues Alley in Washington, DC, Philadelphia Museum of Art and Mann Center For The Performing Arts in Philadelphia. In addition to performing regularly in the northeast and midwest, B.J. has also founded the Jazz Development Group, a non-profit corporation to provide supplemental jazz education clinics to school-age children at no cost.
