Bands at Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival 2007 Include Viva the Band from Sydney

The 20th annual Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival features something for everyone, it will be celebrated on the 9,10,11th March 2007. Artists featured will be the world famous multi Instrumentalist, James Morrison. Other artists include: Ash Grunwald, The Idea of North, Jim Conways Big Wheel, The King Brothers, Ray Beadle, Marie Wilson, Adrian Cunningham, Short & Horny, Charlie Harper & the Mudsliders, Blowhole Boogie, GapProject, The Pilferers, Down South Jazz Trio, The Wollongong Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra and Viva the Band.

Viva the band has been requested once again for their 3rd year to perform at the festival. Their international repertoire of jazz and swing performed in a gypsy Jazz style plus: French, Spanish Cuban, Russian Latin, salsa and classic feature tunes are a delightful adjunct to the many forms of jazz and blues performed at the festival.

Events will be held at: Hindmarsh park, Kiama Leagues Club, Kiama Bowling Club, The Harbourside Brighton Restaurant, The Waves Restaurant, the Jambaroo Hotel, The Bella Chara Hotel Gerringong and The Black Rock Cafe. We expect there will be dancing in the streets once again when Viva the band strike up their amazing music on Saturday the 10th March at the Black Rock Cafe Kiama is on the train line and is a 2.5 hour trip from Sydney and one hour from Wollongong. Kiama Station is located right in the heart of Kiama so venues are easily accessed.
