Be the first on the planet to experience live the extraordinary new sound of Dave Chamberlain's Band of Bones. The debut performance and CD Release will take place on April 13th (Wed) from 7:00-8:30 PM (one set only) at Zinc Bar, 82 West 3rd St. between Sullivan & Thompson in Greenwich Village.

Inspired by the 1950s group led by JJ Johnson and Kai Winding, with a hint of the Basie Band, Band of Bones features exciting arrangements, original soloists, and a unique sound and instrumentation: eight (count 'em!) trombones plus a sensational rhythm section.

Their repertoire spans American standard tunes like It's Allright with Me, Stardust, and Getting Sentimental Over You, timeless jazz classics like Night in Tunisia, Bolivia, and Girl from Ipanema, as well as originals Love Again and Bonin.'

Personnel includes leader Dave Chamberlain on trombone & flute; Sam Burtis, Charley Gordon, Nate Mayland, Matt McDonald, and Chris Rinanman on trombone; Max Seigel and Dale Turk on bass trombone; Kenny Ascher on piano; Jerry Devore on bass; Mike Campenni on drums; Eddie Montalvo on congas; and Kat Gang on vocals.

CD available on CD Baby and iTunes.
