CHICAGO, IL - Ava Logan, “A jewel of a vocalist" as Harry Porterfield of CBS 2 Chicago calls her, returns to the Skokie Theatre, 7924 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie in an all new performance “Lena Horne And Friends" Saturday, March 20 at 8 p.m.

Ava Logan, veterinarian by day, busy jazz vocalist by night, pays her respects to one of the luminaries of the 20th Century with an evening of songs performed originally by Lena Horne and her contemporaries including Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Etta James, Anita Day, Johnny Frigo, and others. Featuring classics like “Stormy Weather," “Wild is the Wind," to “Detour Ahead" and “At Last," “Lena Horne & Friends" will have something for every musical taste and background.
