A Virtual Concert And Arts And Jazzfest NYC 17th Anniversary Celebration.

Via Facebook Live, a Pre-Home Spun Sunday Conversation with Broadway Composer, Pianist, and Singer Emme Kemp and Arts and Jazzfest NYCTM Founder and Producer Gwendolyn Black. Ms. Kemp will discuss her long standing musical career and her celebrating 75 Years of Dancing on the KeysTM.

Streaming on The On Channel, Home Spun SundaysTM with an evening of piano, singing, and conversation with Broadway Composer and Pianist Emme Kemp featuring Bassist Lonnie Plaxico, Saxophonist Patience Higgins and Saxophonist Bill Saxon with other surprise guests.

Streaming on The On Channel, Producer Gwendolyn Black is introducing Jazz By The WaterTM series. In lieu of the planned debut in Nolan Park on Governor’s Island, the series will launch as a virtual concert and Arts and Jazzfest NYCTM 17 Anniversary celebration. Celebrating Jazz Yesterday and TodayTM The concert will feature Percussionist Joe Chambers, Trumpeter Eddie Allen & Friends, Broadway Composer/Pianist Emme Kemp & Friends, Pianist Chuck Fowler, Percussionist Joaquin Pozo, Saxophonist Bill Saxon, Rap Artist Finess (presenting an uplifting song/rap dedicated to Black Matters), Vocalists Rochelle Thompson, Cindy Lou Robinson and other special guests.

About Emme Kemp

Spanning over 75 years, Ms. Kemp has appeared on Broadway, numerous theatrical productions, and appeared in several TV series including the CBS Children’s program “Captain Kangaroo” with original materials she composed among others. Ms. Kemp has played with who’s who of jazz including the late great Eubie Blake and others.
