Don't miss out in an exceptional evening of live jazz featuring Arthur Baron and The Duke's Men. Baron played the trombone in Duke Ellington's Orchestra and performed with great musicians such as Paul Gonsalves, Russell Procope, Ray Nance, Harry Carney and Cootie Williams. Baron will lead his eight-piece ensemble through remarkable jazz standards and special arrangements of Duke Ellington classics like “Take the A Train," “Sophisticated Lady" and “Mood Indigo."

Also... On Friday, June 3rd, the final concert of the spring Jazz Live! season “Latin Jazz" features trumpeter Ray Vega and Latin Jazz Quintet. Vega, a veteran of the Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria and Ray Baretto bands, performs an evening of salsa and Afro-Cuban music.

Concerts take place in the beautifully renovated Flushing Town Hall Theater. Seating is cabaret-style. Flushing Town Hall is located one block east of Main Street, on the corner of Northern Blvd. & Linden Place. Ample free on-site parking is available.
