Composer and saxophonist Andy Farber will lead his 17-piece jazz orchestra at Birdland every Sunday. The Birdland residence will begin on the 16th of March 2008 with a preview on the 24th of February. In addition to newly composed works, Andy Farber & his Orchestra will play new arrangements from the American popular songbook and the world of jazz.

Featured with the band will be the up and coming vocalist and composer, Miss Hilary Kole. Also along for the ride will be drummer Alvester Garnett, and more of New York City's finest musicians.

Saxophones: Chuck Wilson, Sherman Irby, Dan Block, Marc Phaneuf, Jay Brandford

Trombones: Art Baron,Brad Shigeta, Harvey Tibbs, Max Seigel

Trumpets: Brian Parechi, Kenny Rampton, Ronnie Butacavoli, Irv Grossman

Rhythm: Bob Grillo (gtr), Kenny Ascher (pno), Jennifer Vincent (bass), Alvester Garnett(dms)

and of course, Hilary Kole (voice)
