With so many improvements and changes happening at AAJ and Jazz Near You, I wanted to give you a quick update:
We relaunched the All About Jazz forum. It’s much improved with enhanced functionality and much faster. We welcome old friends back and invite new friends to join us. We also created two new “tools and tips” forums: one for our staff and one for musicians and presenters. Please check them out when you get a chance.
We upgraded the Jazz Near You iOS app (to version 1.1). Users now have the ability to view events in other cities. Download it here.
Our Facebook (17,000+) and Twitter (36,000+) pages are generating more activity. If you use social media and are not connected, please like us or follow us now.
As a heads up, we hope to move All About Jazz and Jazz Near You to a new hosting service on a much faster server in the coming weeks. It’s a big effort, involves a team of technicians, and will require a small investment, but the payoff will be a much improved experience for all. It will also greatly increase the capabilities of our platform to support jazz.
If you want to support our move effort, you can make a contribution here:
Enjoy and share!
