We've upgraded the Visual Arts Center (v 1.4) to take advantage of Google image search technology and to improve gallery navigation.
The following navigation/interface changes were made:
- When an album is selected the artist's name is bolded in the master list on the right.
- Album image count has been added to the Recently Added page.
- A “Return to Thumbnail Gallery" link now appears on the pages that feature the larger version of a photo.
We made several Google optimization changes to help drive traffic to your gallery, which in turn will drive traffic to your website. Make sure your name is hotlinked to your website. If it isn't, please see our TIPS page for the how-to instructions.
If you're an existing Visual Arts Center artist, please continue to upload new images so that we can feature them. We're closing in on 10,000 images and we'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to upload their work to the site.
If you have suggestions on how to further improve the Visual Arts Center, please email Michael Ricci. We do plan to prominently feature the more active artists in the future.
