On the evening of 15th December the Llanfyllin Workhouse proudly presents an evening of glamour, dancing and fun with Top Shelf Jazz. Top Shelf Jazz are a four piece hot 1930s swing jazz band with verve, nerve, class, rakish banter and a Noel Coward-esque quality all of their own. Special guest, the delightful tap-dancing Miss Lula Shaker will take you through the Charleston steps so that you can dance the night away. The event will be set in a beautifully decorated and heated marquee creating an atmosphere which harks back to the days of prohibition and silver screen romances. There will also be a caf and a bar. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the festive season in style. There will be a shuttle bus running a “park and ride" in the evening for the Top Shelf Jazz night.
