Performers

12:00-1:00 pm: Tony Miceli Quartet
Tony Miceli is a legendary vibraphonist from Philadelphia. He has performed with numerous artists including Dave Liebman, Ken Peplowski, John Blake, John Swana, Joe Magnarelli, Steve Slagle and others. He is a member of PhilOrch Jazz Ensemble, a quartet featuring members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Adam Unsworth ensemble.

1:30-2:30 pm: Kenny Barron Trio
One of the most renowned, most lyrical—and busiest—pianists in jazz today, Barron is a multiple-Grammy nominee, was honored with induction into the American Jazz Hall of Fame (2005), and received the MAC Lifetime Achievement Award (2005) and the Mid Atlantic Arts Living Legacy Award (2009). Also in 2010, Barron was announced winner of the nation's highest honor in jazz, the NEA Jazz Masters Award.

3:00-4:00 pm: New York Voices
Celebrating their 20 Anniversary this year, New York Voices is the Grammy Award winning vocal ensemble renowned for their excellence in jazz and the art of group singing. Their interests are rooted in jazz, but often Brazilian, R&B, classical, and pop influences are infused with equal creativity and authenticity.

4:30-5:30 pm: Ravi Coltrane Quartet
Ravi Coltrane is a powerfully mature Grammy-nominated artist with a richly diverse, yet highly distinctive concept as both a saxophonist and a composer. His longtime quartet—with pianist Luis Perdomo, bassist Drew Gress, and drummer E.J. Strickland—has established itself as one of the most consistently thrilling and acclaimed working groups in jazz today.
