Rochester, NY: Need to find out who is performing on opening night of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (XRIJF) 11th Edition, June 22-30, 2012? There's an app for that!

The new XRIJF app for iPhone users is now available free from iTunes. Festival fans will find news, information, the schedule, artist information, photos, maps, venue and travel info and links to buy tickets online.

There are also options to select favorite artists, share information on Facebook and Twitter or email, and create a personal festival agenda. A search tool enables easy browsing through concerts files or artist profiles.

A concert reminder will alert fans when shows are about to start.

While the app is currently for apple iPhone devices, the festival hopes to introduce a version for Android devices in the future.
