The Louis Armstrong Continuum - Music of the Hot Fives and Sevens
Musician and bandleader Vince Giordano joins Wynton Marsalis for this special engagement. The recordings by Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five and Hot Seven, recorded between 1925 and 1929, are widely considered to be some of the most historically significant recordings in jazz history. A year-end contribution of $250 to Jazz at Lincoln Center, in honor of the organization’s 25th Anniversary Season, entitles the donor to two seats at a performance (not including food and beverage). All inquiries can be sent to development’s Patron’s Desk at 212-258-9892.
