Saxophonist Victor North is one of the rare artists on any instrument who can literally and figuratively play it all, from Great American Songbook standards, to bebop, to free-form and beyond. It’s hard to believe that this talented, versatile and swinging artist grew up in Alaska and was first exposed to jazz via weekly jam sessions at his local American Legion Hall! Since moving to Philadelphia, one of his dreams as a youth in Alaska, North began studies with greats such as Larry McKenna
