Trio BraamDeJoodeVatcher - Jazz/improv from the Netherlands - presents its new CD: Change This Song (BBB8) in the US

Trio BraamDeJoodeVatcher is
Michiel Braam: piano
Wilbert de Joode: double bass
Michael Vatcher: drums

The band comprises three of the Dutch jazz scene's most idiosyncratic musicians, for whom improvisation and adventure are as necessary as breathing. All compositions are by Michiel Braam, but on stage each of the musicians plays an absolutely equal role in the music.

“If only more jazz were as much fun as Trio BraamDeJoodeVatcher's... The band epitomizes what makes much Dutch jazz so peculiarly entertaining... This trio is a treasure." ~ Kevin Whitehead, Chicago Sun-Times

“Pianist Michiel Braam is yet another superb performer who perfectly encapsulates everything that's made New Dutch Swing one of the most consistently lively and enjoyable scenes in contemporary jazz. With powerhouse bassist Wilbert de Joode and drummer extraordinaire Michael Vatcher behind him all the way it's no wonder Braam delivers some of the most confident and enjoyable piano work I've heard in recent years. Check it out." ~ Dan Warborton, Paris Transatlantic
