The Rosenberg Trio
20 years after their triumph at the Festival international de Jazz de Montreal with Stphane Grappelli, The Rosenberg Trio are finally back in Canada in the same swinging spirit, as this time it's going to be a Django Reinhardt celebration.

First stop for the Trio is the Festival des Guitares Du Monde en Abitibi-Temiscamingue, in Rouyn-noranda, where they will perform together with the trio of Django's Grandson David Reinhardt, possibly the finest melodic talent of the young generation of players from Paris, and a long time friend of the trio.

Then Montreal and the amphithatre du GESU, on June 1st, this time with the Denis Chang Manouche Project.

Having just released their new album, the aptly named “Djangologists", which features special guest Birli Lagrne on five tunes, The Rosenberg Trio were adopted By Django Reinhardt's Partner Stphane Grappelli who declared them “absolutely the best Gipsy band he played with in all his life..." They have been proving him right 20 years through, and continue to do so with Djangologists, their best album to date.
