The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music is now offering a limited amount of $25 tickets to its New Horizon benefit concert (June 2), featuring performances by two well known alumni: acclaimed jazz pianist Robert Glasper, and multi-instrumentalist Greg Kurstin of the pop-psychedelic band the bird and the bee. Blue Note recording artists who cross musical genres, Glasper is a star of the new jazz generation and Kurstin a leading figure in contemporary music. Robert Glasper Trio will open the program, followed by the bird and the bee, whose hit song “Again and Again" was recently featured on the television show Grey's Anatomy. This will be the first New York City show for the bird and the bee since the release of their new album, One Too Many Hearts. All proceeds support scholarships and academic initiatives at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.

General admission ($60) and VIP ($350, includes post-show artist reception) tickets are also available. For more information or to purchase tickets, please call 212.229.5662 x3829.
