“There's no show quite like The Frank & Joe Show...their 'show' is a spirited, surprising and sometimes dazzling blend of gypsy jazz, southwest swing, dreamy pop balladry and off-the-wall novelties. Anything goes, and it all goes down smoothly." - Washington Post

“To boil it down to its essence, the Frank & Joe Show revives classic American jazz-pop through two influences: Django Reinhardt and Joao Gilberto." -- Will Friedwald NY Sun

WHO: THE FRANK & JOE SHOW featuring Frank Vignola on lead guitar, Joe Ascione on percussion, Ken Smith on rhythm guitar, Gary Mazzaroppi on bass, Chuck Ferruggia on percussion and Rich Zukor on percussion.

WHAT: New York City's hottest roots jazz band, The Frank & Joe Show, will perform “live" in their guitarist Frank Vignola's homebase, Sugarloaf, NY on Friday, January 21st at the gourmet restaurant, Amarone's. The critically acclaimed sextet, led by the much celebrated guitarist Vignola and his partner, percussionist Joe Ascione, is a staple of New York City's jazz scene where they're among the most popular acts currently on the circuit.

The Frank & Joe Show first appeared in 2004 upon releasing their debut album, 33 1/3. It was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, Joel Dorn and featured guest appearances by Jane Monheit, Janis Siegel and Dr. John. Soon thereafter the group hit the road where they remained throughout the year on multiple tours across the country bringing audiences to their feet and garnering rave reviews as one of the most electrifying and inimitable instrumental groups to emerge in recent memory.

Most recently, The Frank & Joe Show returned to the studio to begin work on their second album. The record, which will be released in Spring 2005, will capture The Frank & Joe Show's impressive evolution to a dynamic and full-fledged working band with over 200 performances now under its belt. This rare appearance in Vignola's hometown, where he lives with his wife and three sons, is not to be missed as it guarantees to dazzle Upstate New York residents like few concerts they will have the opportunity to witness this year.
