The B-52's have announced plans to bring their cosmic dance party back to the town where it all began, Athens, GA. Almost 35 years to the day that they played their first-ever show, “The World's Greatest Party Band" will perform at the Classic Center in a celebration of their long and venerated career.
Tickets to the 35th Anniversary show will go on sale to the general public on Friday, but there will be a special password-protected pre-sale for fans that starts today at 10 am EST.
Meanwhile, VIP tickets are on sale now. Platinum packages include seats in the first three rows ("the pit") right in front of the stage, exclusive B-52s merchandise, and a meet and greet with the band. Gold packages include seats in the first seven rows of the center orchestra, just behind the Pit, plus exclusive B-52s merchandise. Click here for more details.
