Superstars Tony Bennett, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Dave Brubeck, Spyro Gyra headline 2003 Rochester International Jazz Festival

Rochester, NYApril 1, 2003 Legendary performers Tony Bennett, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Dave Brubeck, and Spyro Gyra will headline an extraordinary lineup of more than 60 artists at the Rochester International Jazz Festivals (www.rochesterjazz.com) second edition, June 5-14.

The vibrant lineup of critically acclaimed jazz and contemporary musicians also includes Medeski Martin & Wood - a big favorite last year, saxophonist Chris Potter, trombone great Fred Wesley, and critically acclaimed vocalists Claudia Acuna and Kevin Mahogany. Weve also booked several rising artists who will turn heads, including wonderful vocalist Lizz Wright, says John Nugent, Festival Producer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday April 4. Concert venues include Eastman Theatre, High Falls, Montage Grill, Milestones, Max of Eastman Place, Kilbourn Hall, Memorial Art Gallery, Strong Museum, Water Street Music Hall, and The Crowne Plaza Hotel Big Tent and State Street Bar & Grill.
