Steve Howe--best known as the legendary guitarist for Yes, Asia, and GTR, and who almost singlehandedly is responsible for elevating Rock Guitar to an art form--will perform in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Barrymore's Music Hall - 323 Bank St.

This tour coincides with the release “The Haunted Melody" and represents a new creative high for the guitarist.

Howe's Progrock roots and the Hard Bop playing of his much younger band mates (his son, Dylan Howe on drums, and Ross Stanley on Hammond), creates a dynamic musical environment which the legendary guitarist brilliantly exploits and is clearly thrilled to be part of.

Songs from the Yes Repertoire, Jazz Standards, as well as songs from Howe's solo career have all been creatively re-interpreted for the Trio's much jazzier format. Also playing an important role in the Trio is the music of Guitarist Kenny Burrell, a major influence on Howe's own playing.
