Award-Winning, critically acclaimed guitar virtuoso phenom, composer and bandleader Sten Hostfalt's unique original artistry carries the creative legacy of mentors, legendary icons of American Music and Jazz Jimmy Giuffre, Joe Maneri and Paul Bley, who along with Gary Burton and George Russell were in various ways involved in the creative process leading to his initial works and CD releases as a leader on the mid-90's East Coast US / NYC and International creative music scene.
For the past two decades, his instrumental and compositional voice has been shaped, manisfested and documented alongside some of the world's most innovative musicians, at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium and at festivals, concert halls, broadcasts and recordings in Scandinavia, Argentina, Slovakia, USA and France.
