Sirius XM, the beleaguered satellite radio provider, has unveiled a new BlackBerry app that lets users listen to over 120 channels of commercial-free music, talk, sports, and comedy programming.
However, there's a catch. As FierceMobileContent reports, the new app lacks The Howard Stern Show, as well as live coverage of NFL, MLB, and NASCAR events--just like the iPhone and iPod touch app.
That little detail aside, the BlackBerry app lets users bookmark Internet channels using the Favorites function, and lets listeners browse current programming on other channels via the app's Lookaround feature, the report said. The app is available as a free download at siriusxm.com/blackberry; users can register for a 7-day free trial.
