NEW SUMMER DATES IN SUPPORT OF FROM AFRICA WITH FURY: RISE
Seun Kuti is excited to announce a North American tour in support of his new album, From Africa With Fury: Rise. On the tour, he'll be heading up Egypt 80, the extraordinary combo first fronted by his renowned father. The tour begins in Los Angeles, CA at Grand Performances on July 15 and wraps up on July 30 at Floydfest in Floyd, VA.
Seun Kuti has also released the music video for the track “Rise," off the new album. The Juliet Rios & Gabe Imlay-directed video finds Seun leading his band, surrounded by dancers from the FELA! Broadway musical. Throughout the clip, Seun carries forward his father's protests, imploring Africa to “rise up," while dancers push against walls adorned with drawings of diamonds, soldiers & mosquitoes.
