Konstantinos composed a thematic album of modern jazz music that gains a dark programmatic mood, which motivates the listener to dive deep into his senses. Orchestration preserves Jazz's classical raw sound, while instruments such as bass, piano and drums are totally tied to the sophisticated tone of the saxophone tenor and its clear influences from ECM Records.
Konstantinos is an active musician and has participated in a variety of musical projects, while he has designed high-end electronic high-end audio equipment at both consumer and professional levels. During the production of the album he was actively involved in the whole process, thus passing his personal sound stamp. Darkness of a Fairy Tale gives you the live" feel of the genre but preserves all the tranquility and emotional concentration you find in a studio album, providing the listener with a powerful experience combining both of the above elements. Darkness of a Fairy Tale was released on a stylish digipak CD and the cover artwork includes Vangelis Papachristos' painting Jours et Nuits No4" (1996).
Darkness of a Fairy Tale is available on all popular digital music platforms.
