"HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS" WITH THE LOW COUNTRY'S GEECHEE CHARMER, ABE WHITE AND GUEST VOCALIST DIANE CAMERON

Abe White declares “There's no place like home" in his catchy tune “My Hometown". This song is sure to be one of the most requested songs on his brand new CD “Home For The Holidays". It will surely be a clarion call to Charlestonians all over the world as well as at home. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, It tells the story of his love for Charleston and lyrically honors some of the historic landmarks and towns such as “Riverfront Park", Mt. Pleasant and East of the Ashley.

Abe has added his signature Gullah sweetness to traditional Holiday favorites such as “The Christmas Song", Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", and The First Noel. He is joined on this project by International Vocalist, Actress and Playwright Diane Cameron. Her version of “O Holy Night" is hauntingly beautiful and you could find yourself playing this track repeatedly. Diane has toured extensively in Japan, Africa and the United States. She is the Artist- in- Residence to Benin and a 2005 KORA Award Nominee. She sings a unique style of music called “Diasjazzpora" heavily influenced by African rhythms and themes.

This is a CD that you will find yourself playing long after the Holidays.
