Samuel Torres tours the world with renowned African bassist/singer Richard Bona. Previously he played with multi award-winner Arturo Sandoval and has also performed with Tito Puente, Chick Corea, Don Byron, Paquito D'Rivera and many others. In 2000, he was awarded Second Prize at the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Torres group perform on Monday the 12th @ the Triad theater and will embark thereafter on a tour of Colombia on Sept. 15th thru the 18th.
