About Hernan Romero:

Infusing classical and flamenco guitar with jazz riffs and contemporary melodies, composer and guitarist Hernan Romero brings world/jazz to a new realm with his latest release, Un Segundo una Vida. Spiced with the exotic traditions that influence flamenco-gypsy, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean folk-and interwoven with textures of classical, jazz, and Latin rhythms, Romero's music is both sophisticated and accessible. It is sensuous, passionate, romantic and inescapably infectious. Receiving classical guitar training in his youth from Roberto Lara one of Andres Segovia's disciples, Romero became strongly influenced by the Flamenco style.

In 1986 Romero moved to New York. Teaching classical guitar in the Music program at Manhathan School of Music in New York. Soon after his arrival, Romero also continued his education with a Masters in Composition and Orchestration at the Manhattan School of Music.

Playing in jazz clubs around town, Romero was soon working with some of world's finest guitarists, including Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin. In 1990, Romero produced and played on Di Meola Plays Piazzola, beginning a fertile association with Di Meola that resulted in 11 other albums including Orange and Blue for Rhino Records in 1994 and The Grand Passion for Telarc.

Un segundo una Vida was nominated for best surround Grammy's bringing Romero's flamenco and Latin-based jazz to new realms, with the addition of more complex orchestration, additional instrumentation including the melodic strings of a chamber orchestra, and a wide array of penetrating vocals his composing and performing skills as a collaborator remain in high demand. There is a soon to be released new effort with long time friend Al Di Meola. Romero collaborated in the recording of Rear View Mirror with Grammy Award winning vocalist Alicia Keys released on the Dr. Doolittle 2 soundtrack.

Duende Romero's new CD on Bolero Records hit 9 on Billboard September 2006.

About Roman Miroshnichenko:

Top-Russian guitarist, who subdues his audiences by virtuoso performance skills, improvisational flight and rich melodies. Roman performed with world-renowned music stars: Al Di Meola, Djivan Gasparyan, Frank Colon, Joao Donato, Saskia Laroo, Richie Cole, Milcho Leviev, Mario Parmisano and Russian jazz stars: Leonid Vintskevich, Igor Bril, Alexey Zubov, Bril brothers, to name a few.



His guitar is heard in soundtracks for popular Russian TV series and movies, on the albums of Russian pop music stars. Roman's playing is characterized by bright melodies, clear improvisational thinking, ability to use multiple stylistics, rich technique and equal control over acoustic and electric versions of the instrument. Roman is the official Ovation Guitars endorser in Russia and ex-USSR countries.

Roman Miroshnichenko, born in 1977, started to study drums at the age of 11, but in wasn't until he was 14 when he picked up the guitar for the first time. From 1994 to 1999, Roman was the member of his father, Maxim Miroshnichenko's Big Band, while he getting higher education as the engineer in the Dnepropetrovsk University in Ukraine. After graduation in 2000, Roman enrolled in the Moscow State University of Culture, Jazz Guitar specialty. Since 2003, Roman founded RM Project, his own band he tours CIS and Europe with ever since and is a frequent visitor and headliner to most prestigious jazz festivals.
