Saxello-soprano saxophonist Rocky Gordon's anticipated sophomore release, Perfect World, is due out by mid-June. Gordon's debut release, Song Painting, has “done very well for us..." related Misata Entertainment's vice-president of marketing and promotions, Joe Daniels.
Daniels also stated that this new 10 song collection would provide a more intense approach by the artist as a contemporary jazz musician. “...songs with haunting melodies" added Daniels.
The title cut introduces 13 year Mikalah Gordon performing the only featured vocal on the album.
Recorded at Windemere Studios, located in Las Vegas, with all live musicians. Co-produced by Dan Sartarella, with Gordon.
